Summer School on Chitosan 26.10.2026 – 01.11.2026
”Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, in collaboration with the European Chitin Society, will organize a summer school entitled “EUCHIS International School on Chitosan: One Biopolymer – Plenty of Possibilities” in Iași, Romania, from 26 October to 1 November 2026. The school is co funded by the European Union through the PIOChitIns project and aims to bring together students, young researchers, and specialists interested in chitosan—its production, characterization, properties, and wide range of applications.

Opening Conference
On 25 September 2026, the opening conference of the project will take place in the Conference Hall of the “Petru Poni” Institute of Macromolecular Chemistry, Iași, Aleea Gr. Ghica Vodă, 41A.
The conference is open to all those interested in the project’s theme and in the applications of chitosan in fields such as biomedicine, environmental protection, and the food industry.
